33607398Characterization of the perioperative changes of exosomal immune-related cytokines induced by prostatectomy in early-stage prostate cancer patients.Cytokine levels of CCL2, CXCL5 decreased in patients' postsurgical exosomes, while TGF-ß further increased. Also, presurgical TGF-ß decreased both in serum and exosomes as Gleason score rises. Cytokines related with MDSC cell recruitment and activation CCL2, CXCL2, CXCL5, CXCL8, CXCL12, MIF, S100A9 and TGF-ß were measured in serum and serum-derived exosomes using immunometric assays. Exosomes were enriched specially in MIF, TGF-ß and CXCL2. On the contrary, S100A9 levels were lower in patientś presurgical exosomes but increased after radical prostatectomy. Patientś presurgical exosomes had increased CCL2, CXCL5 and TGF-ß levels than exosomes from healthy controls. Presurgical MIF levels in exosomes correlated negatively with serum PSA.
33859068S100A9-containing serum exosomes of burn injury patients promote permeability of pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells. Here we hypothesized that S100A9-containing serum exosomes of patients with burn injury contribute to pathogenesis of hyperpermeability of microvascular structure in lung by transferring signaling molecules into it and activating downstream signaling pathways, ultimately leading to disruption of the tight junctions (TJs) and endothelial barrier.
34305563Bioinformatic Analysis of the Proteome in Exosomes Derived From Plasma: Exosomes Involved in Cholesterol Metabolism Process of Patients With Spinal Cord Injury in the Acute Phase. The main components of cholesterol [ApoB-48 and ApoB-100 increased, ApoA-I, ApoA-II, ApoA-IV, ApoC, ApoE, and Apo(a) decreased] were changed in exosomes derived from plasma of patients.
34599510Inflammatory capacity of exosomes released in the early stages of acute pancreatitis predicts the severity of the disease. In particular, an increase in the amount of S100A8 and S100A9 carried by exosomes of severe pancreatitis suggests that the mechanism of action of exosomes is mediated by the effect of these proteins on NADPH oxidase.
35935235Association Between Plasma Exosomes S100A9/C4BPA and Latent Tuberculosis Infection Treatment: Proteomic Analysis Based on a Randomized Controlled Study.Totally, two sample sets for screening ( Our findings suggest that downregulated C4BPA and S100A9 in plasma exosomes might be associated with a host positive response to LTBI treatment.
36277145S100A9‑containing serum exosomes obtained from patients with burn injuries promote myocardial cell pyroptosis through NLRP3.When AC16 cells were treated with the serum exosomes obtained from patients with burn injuries, pyroptosis was significantly promoted and the expression levels of IL-1β and IL-18 were increased.
37051106Renal tubular epithelial cells treated with calcium oxalate up-regulate S100A8 and S100A9 expression in M1-polarized macrophages via interleukin 6.Calgranulins S100A8 and S100A9 are common in renal stones and they are up-regulated in both urinary exosomes and kidneys of stone patients.
37405532Establishment and Evaluation of Exosomes-Related Gene Risk Model in Hepatocellular Carcinoma.Exosomes have been shown to play an important role in HCC development and have significant potential in managing HCC patient prognosis, as they are detectable in patients' blood.
